That was very cute, especially their reaction in the meeting. I love Cottle being embarrassed having conversations with them.
Author's Response:I like to think that Cottle would be embarrassed, although I'm sure he's seen and heard it all by now. But it being Bill and Laura is making him very uncomfortable. LOL!

Ah a treat for many holidays or just a normal day. Love anything with Cottle in it and isn't it something that we all think of him as more senior than the others though I'm sure he's a contemporary.
Love that he had a deep love in his life to pine for still.
