Interesting turn of things and also interesting that Bill doesn't ask Laura what was said and she doesn't share it.
Of course, I hate that they were disturbed before things got really interesting.
Love that he couldn't bear to clean up her mess of index cards. Maybe he was waiting for her to come back and do it so he could ... and she could....
