I'm a thirty-something classically trained amateur light lyric soprano. Opera and art song is my first love. I also enjoy writing, although when I see some of the amazing stories written here--I see that I have a LOT to learn. I love to read, especially science-fiction and fantasy. Like so many of the writers here, I was utterly captivated by Bill and Laura, actually by all of Battlestar Galactica. But their love story is really, truly something special. Besides singing, I also play the piano but rarely seem to find time to practice enough these days. I also enjoy making things explode on my Xbox 360 even though I am pretty terrible at shooters. I have fun anyway.
